Episode 22 is titled "The Real Phyllis Morris" because it includes a rare recording of my mom's actual voice. I also include a link in the show notes to an interview I conducted with her back in 2019, before the dementia and cancer had become overpowering. Honestly though, I think this episode is one of the most interesting ones so far. There's also a sort of guest appearance (in deed) by my buddy Garth, from Australia. Good times.
Episode 22 is a doozy. You get to hear my mom's voice. Plus a lot of big questions, challenging moments: Who should get the inheritance? How and why do caregivers lose their bearings? What makes a sane person start resting their head on random hallway walls? How long do you wait to reconnect with a sibling who didn't help? What happens when both parents are no longer thinking clearly?
